Oscar de la Renta Oscar de la Renta fragrances and colognes is a fashion designer born in the Dominican Republic in 1932. He showed his love for art and fashion from a young age. He studied art in Madrid and with the growth of his love for fashion he started designing for fashion houses and ended up as an assistant fashion designer in the House of Lanvin, France in 1960. After working for a while in this field, his artistic sense led him to the line of fashion design and ready-made clothes. He left for the United States and worked for Elizabeth Arden, and after a while he was able to start and set up his own fashion house in 1965. The first edition of this house was in 1977 and the latest is from 2016. Oscar de la Renta perfumes are issued in collaboration with the designers: Frank Voelkel, Anne Gottlieb, Jacques Cavalier, Alberto Morillas, Jean-Marc Chaillan, Carlos Biniam, Jean-Louis Suezak, Sonia Constant, Petriac Bequet, Elias Ermenides, Sofia Grojsman, Pascal Gorin, Borno Jovanovic.
