Maurer & Wirtz Cologne

Maurer & Wirtz fragrances and colognes was founded in 1854 by Michael Maurer and his husband-in-law Andreas Wirtz, when they decided to start soap production in the small town of Stolberg near Aachen, Germany. Maurer & Wirtz is an ancient perfume house. The first edition was created in 1792 and the most recent edition from 2015. Maurer & Wirtz fragrances were created in collaboration with perfumers Geza Schoen, Cecile Hua and Wilhelm Muelhens.
