Marc Jacobs

In 1986, Marc Jacobs presented his first collection bearing the Marc Jacobs label, in collaboration with Kashiyama USA. Receiving an award from Perry Ellis for his fashion talent, Jacobs joined the company in 1988, leaving it in 1993 to model under the Marc Jacobs International line. His first collection, men's clothing, appeared in 1994. Jacobs then joined Louis Vuitton as Creative Director in 1997, creating the first ready-to-wear collection. In 2001, Marc Jacobs launched perfumes in collaboration with Coty.
