Qais Guess

An American fashion house founded by brothers George, Armand, Paul and Maurice Marciano. Born in Morocco and raised in France. The brothers moved to California in 1977 to launch a business, using seed money provided by the family of Gordashi Jeans products. The first jeans produced by the House of Guess are the "Marlin" which is stone washed and comes with a distinctive zip at the ankle. As the jeans design of the late 1970's continued apace into the early 1980's, Guess introduced captivating products at just the right time.
