It is a men's fashion house, founded by Persian designer Bijan Pakzad.. The first fragrance was Bijan For by & Women, which was released in 1987. Bijan For Men won the 1987 FIFA Award for Best Men's Perfume of that year. The perfume collection is distinguished by its unique round shape and the caps on it. It has been widely distributed, and has received multiple nominations and awards over the years. Bijan perfumes are licensed with five stars. The first edition was launched in 1986 and the modern edition is from 2008. Bijan Perfumes were released in collaboration with perfumers Peter Brohm, James Kriveda, Givaudan and Claude Der.
